Employee retraining funds

Employees retraining funds are a discretionary incentive administered by the Coordinating Council for Economic Development.

They are available to:

  • Technology intensive companies
These funds are used to retrain existing production and technology employees so that the company may remain competitive or introduce new technologies. The training program must be approved and run by our local technical college and companies must match the retraining funds provided by the CCED. This program allows for reimbursement up to $500 per employee per year, not to exceed $2,000 per employee in a five-year period. Learn more.
