Carver Companies (02/22/17)

Carver companies, a diversified group of manufacturing and construction companies, will be expanding its Charleston County operation.  The expansion is expected to bring $13 million of new capital investment and lead to the creation of 22 new jobs.  

Bintelli, LLC (12/21/16)

Bintelli, LLC,a manufacturer and distributor of mopeds, scooters and electric vehicles for a variety of applications, has expanded its existing Charleston County operations.  The investment is expected to generate 23 new jobs over the next five years, 10 of which have recently been filled.

NexGen Composites (12/12/16)

NexGen Composites, a manufacturer of lightwight composite structural panels for a variety of commericial and military applications, has launched its first South Carolina operation in North Charleston with an initial investment of $100,000.

Safran (11/29/16)

Safran a leading suppliers of systems and equipment for aircraft, including the Boeing 787 Dreamliner, has expanded its operations in North Charleston investing $7 million which is expected to create 15 new jobs. (11/04/16) a speciality golf travel company is establishing its first U.S. operations in Mount Pleasant! This project is the first in the state's new Landing Pad program which assists established companies looking to enter the U.S. or South Carolina markets for the first time. 

JEAR Logistics LLC (9/14/16)

Jear Logistics LLC, a third-party logistics company is expanding in Mount Pleasant! The project is expected to result in $2.8 million investment and create 152 new jobs.  

Thyssenkrupp Industrial Services (5/11/16)

thyssenkrupp Industrial Services, a full-service provider of customized product management solutions, is establishing operations in Charleston County, creating 32 new jobs and bring $1.4 million in investment. Learn more.

Comcast (4/6/16)

Comcast is establishing a new customer service and technical support Center of Excellence in Charleston County. The $21.4 million facility will house more than 550 new employees. Learn more.

Call Experts (3/16/16)

Call Experts, a leading answering service company, is expanding its existing operations in Charleston County, investing $1.8 million which is expected to create 310 new jobs over the next five years. Learn more.

Limehouse Produce Company (1/14/16)

Limehouse Produce, a local company that has been providing farmed produce and unique products to Charleston area restaurants, schools and hospitals for more than seven decades, is expanding its Lowcountry operations. The company is investing $8.3 million in the project, which is expected to create 40 new jobs over the next five years. Learn more.

Sea Pac, LLC (10/11/15)

Sea Pac, LLC will establish a Charleston county facility, investing $32 million and creating 50 new jobs initially and more than 200 in the next five years. The company specializes in transloading, warehousing, packaging, and logistics of plastic resins. Learn more.

Daimler Vans Manufacturing (3/6/15)

Current Palmetto Commerce Parkway resident Daimler will invest $500 million to establish a new, full van manufacturing plant in Charleston County. The new production plant in North Charleston, S.C. will supply the North American market with the next-generation Sprinter, creating 1,300 new jobs. Learn more.

Moneypenny (2/24/15)

Moneypenny, a telephone answering service firm, is opening new office Charleston County. The $760,000 investment is expected to result in approximately 40 new jobs in North Charleston, S.C. by the end of 2016, with long-term plans to employ approximately 400 workers at the facility within the next five years. Hubner Manufacturing Corporation (12/11/14)

Hubner supplies products to the bus, rail and air transportation industries. They are expanding operations at their Mount Pleasant facility, located in Charleston County. They will invest $8.6 million and create 50 new jobs. Learn more.

APAC Customer Services, Inc. (10/23/14)

APAC Customer Services, Inc., a call center outsourcing company, is adding 200 local jobs to its existing North Charleston, S.C. facility. APAC operates its North Charleston facility along with EGS subsidiary NCO Financial Systems, Inc. Learn more.

New Orleans Cold Storage & Warehouse Company (NOCS) (10/7/14)

New Orleans Cold Storage & Warehouse Company is expanding in Charleston County, adding additional refrigerated cold storage space (for a total of 151,700 sq ft.) and additional blast freeze capacity and truck platforms. This expansion will result in a capital ivnestment of $15.6 million and create 27 new jobs.

TorqTek Design and Manufacturing (9/9/14)

TorqTek, anautomotive supplier, has announced its expansion in expanding their Charleston County facility, investing $12 million and creating 50 new jobs.  Learn more.

Senior Aerospace AMT (7/10/14)

Senior Aerospace AMT, a manufacturer of structural parts for leading original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) in the large commercial jet market, is opening satellite operations in Charleston County, creating 60 new skilled jobs. Learn more.

New World Pharmaceuticals LLC and New World Consumer Products (7/17/14)

New World Pharmaceuticals LLC and New World Consumer Products LLC said they expect to invest more than $21 million and create more than 38 jobs over the next five years. Learn more.

Pacific Rim Aerospace (5/28/14)

Pacific Rim Aerospace (PacRim) a provider of solutions for aerospace engineering applications, has established an office in Charleston County, allowing for more direct support of its customers in the growing aerospace sector of the Southeast region. Aeterna Zentaris, a specialty biopharmaceutical company developing novel treatments in oncology and endocrinology, selected Charleston County for the company's newest North American business and global commercial operations. The $1 million investment is expected to create 60 new jobs. Learn more.
